Too little bass or too much treble from product | Acoustic Wave® system II
If the sound lacks bass or has too much treble:
Try the following:
Relocate the system to increase bass.
If listening to an AM or FM station, be sure the Talk Radio mode is set properly.
Talk Radio mode reduces bass on AM and FM radio, which can help with voice clarity during talk radio programming.
While listening to an FM or AM radio station, press the Play Mode button on the remote control to turn Talk Radio mode on or off. When enabled, the display shows TALK RADIO (or TALK RADIO – ON) to confirm the setting.
Tip: Talk Radio mode automatically turns off when you switch to another audio source or station, or when the system is powered off.
Note: On products running software version 040401 or later, Talk Radio mode is replaced by Bass Reduction mode, which affects all audio played through the system. For more information, see Adjusting the tone controls on your product and Checking the software or firmware version.
