Cannot connect a Bluetooth device | Bose SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker
Reboot the Bluetooth device
Electronics might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. This is typically done by turning the device off, then powering it on again.
Clear your Bose product memory of previously-connected Bluetooth devices
Your Bose product remembers the last several devices it connected to, allowing for quick reconnection. If you experience an issue with device memory, you may need to clear it by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for 15 seconds or until you hear the voice prompt, then try to reconnect. You might also need to remove the product from the Bluetooth settings on your device.
Try connecting a different Bluetooth device.

Your Bose product is ready to connect to a Bluetooth® device.
Select your Bose product on the Bluetooth® device you are trying to connect.
Check if the Bluetooth® device is connected to another product.
Reboot the Bluetooth® device.
On the Bluetooth® device, remove your Bose product and then try again.

Clear the Bose product memory of previously-connected Bluetooth® devices.
- Power on your Bose product.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until you hear “Bluetooth device list cleared” and the Power light blinks white twice.
- The Bluetooth light blinks blue.
- Delete the speaker from your device’s Bluetooth settings.
