Resetting your product | Lifestyle® 135 home entertainment system

A reset corrects minor processors errors. Unless indicated otherwise, product settings are not lost during a reset.

What part would you like to reset?

• System
• Control Console

To reset your Lifestyle system:

1. Turn the system off. Wait 30 seconds.
2. Unplug both the control console and Acoustimass module power cords from the power outlet.
3. Unplug the audio input cable from both the control console and Acoustimass module
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Reconnect the audio input cable to the Acoustimass module and control console.
6. Reconnect the Acoustimass module and control console power cords.
7. Retest the system.

To reset the control console:

1. Turn the control console off.
2. On the control console, press and hold the Power button for five seconds. The red LED will turn off.
3. Release the Power button.
4. Retest the system.

This resets your product to its factory default configuration. Unless indicated otherwise, all settings are cleared and reverted to their original out-of-box state. After, your product can be configured as if it were being setup for the first time.

To restore the system to factory default settings:

Note: With the exception of the ADAPTiQ audio calibration settings, this reset erases all settings and returns your system to its default out-of-box state.

1. Power off your system.
2. On the back of the system console, disconnect the power cord.
3. On the front of the system console, simultaneously press and hold the Source and Volume - buttons and, while holding them, reconnect the power cord.
4. Continue holding the buttons until the Bose logo appears twice on the TV screen.
5. Re-pair the remote control with your system. For more info, see Pairing the remote control to your system.

To restore the remote to factory default settings:

Note: This returns your remote to its out-of-box state, which clears it from controlling your Bose system and devices it has been programmed to control.

1. On the remote control, simultaneously press and hold the OK button, the – button, and the Glow button (on the back) for about 10 seconds until Factory Reset appears on the remote display.
2. Once reset, the remote will need to be linked to your system before it can control it. For more info, see Pairing the remote control to your system.
