Resetting your product | Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker
Do you want to reset your product or restore its default settings?
- Reset: A reset corrects minor processors errors. Unless indicated otherwise, product settings are not lost during a reset.
- Restore factory settings: This resets your product to its factory default configuration. Unless indicated otherwise, all settings are cleared and reverted to their original out-of-box state. After, your product can be configured as if it were being setup for the first time.
To reset your speaker:
Disconnect the speaker from the AC (mains) power outlet, wait 30 seconds, and then reconnect it.
The reset is complete when the speaker turns on and the status light slowly pulses white.
Before you perform a factory default reset, have you setup a voice assistant to work with your product?

To restore the factory default settings:
Note: This reset erases all settings and returns your product to its default out-of-box state. Once reset, open the Bose app to reconfigure your product.
- Remove the product from your Bose account. For more info, see Removing a product from your Bose account
- Touch and hold the Play/Pause button and the Volume down button for 10 seconds until the status light on the front of the speaker slowly pulses amber
- The restore is complete. The speaker reboots and is ready to connect.
Delete the previous Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) pairing from your mobile device’s list of paired Bluetooth devices.
- Set up your speaker using the Bose app
Yes, Alexa has been added
Remove Alexa
- In the Amazon Alexa app, go to Devices > Echo & Alexa and select your Bose product to view its details
- Scroll down and tap Deregister
Tip: If your product appears more than once, remove all instances of it
