Changing the video black level | Lifestyle® 48 Series IV DVD home entertainment system

The video black level option is only available when a composite or S-video cable connects the media center to the TV. This option is not available if component cables connect the media canter to the TV. If the connection is made with a composite or S-video cable, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the TV is on and that the correct input is selected
2. Press the System button on the remote control
3. Select the Video icon and press the Enter button
4. Press the down arrow until "Video Black Level" is selected. Press Enter
5. Press the up or down arrows to change to either "Normal" or "Extended"

Note: If a VS-2 video enhancer is connected, you may change the video black level regardless of which connection type you use -- HDMI, component, S-vide or composite.
