Setting up your product | Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen)

Download the Bose app

The free Bose app  lets you set up and control your headphones from a mobile device, choose a voice prompt language, adjust noise cancelling levels, and more. For more info, see Downloading the Bose app.

• If you open the app and are prompted to allow Location Service or Bluetooth® permissions, allow them.
  Tip: These are used so the app can detect and control your product. If you do not allow them, the app will not find your product.
• If you don't have a Bose account, tap Create Account and follow the app instructions.
• If you already have a Bose account, tap Log In and enter your username and password.

Add your headphones to your account

1. Press and hold the Power switch all the way to the right (toward he Bluetooth® icon) and hold it there until the Bluetooth light is blinking blue. If you're wearing your headphones, you'll hear a pulsing tone.
2. In the Bose app, from the "My Bose" screen, tap the + button.
3. Select your headphones and then follow the app instructions.
