Connecting to power | SoundDock® Digital Music system
Attach the power supply.
The power supply consists of two parts, the power cord and power pack. To connect them, follow these steps:

- Connect the molded end of the power pack cable to its jack on the SoundDock system. Be sure it is firmly seated
- Connect the molded end of the power cord to its jack on the power pack
- Connect the two-prong plug at the other end of the power cord to a working power outlet
Check the power cord type.
There has been a running change in the power supply connector that goes into the back of the SoundDock. If the power connection on the back of the unit has a circle with an arrow going into it, rather than the words "DC Power", the SoundDock will need to come in for service to have its rear enclosure changed to accept the new power supply. Follow the link for more information on how to service your product. Depending on your product and region, you will be provided a contact number or the ability to setup service online.
