No power | Bose Sport Open Earbuds (2021)
Make sure to charge earbuds before use
The battery will drain if the earbuds are not used or on the charging base. This could happen upon first use or if the product has not been used or charged in a while. For best performance and longevity, charge your earbuds when not in use.
IMPORTANT: The earbuds' battery drains when stored in the carry case and not in use. For best results, ALWAYS charge your earbuds when not in use.
Make sure the earbuds are on the charging base correctly when charging
The direction of the earbuds must match the diagram on the charging base.
- Look for the L and R markings to ensure you place the correct earbud on the correct side.
- The earbuds will magnetically snap into place.
- The status lights will blink white to indicate that they are charging and will glow solid white when fully charged.
- If the earbuds are not placed on the charging base correctly, they will not charge
Correct Incorrect - If the status lights blinks blue, the earbuds are not on correctly and they will not charge
- If you are playing music and place the buds on the charging base, the music should stop. If the music continues playing, the earbuds are not on the charger correctly and will not charge
Check if the battery is charged.
Be sure the battery is not depleted. For more info see, Checking the remaining battery charge and Charging your headphones.
Check for and install any available product updates.
On a computer, visit btu.bose.com and follow the instructions to ensure your product has the latest features and enhancements. See Checking the software or firmware version and Updating the software or firmware of your product.
Disconnect and reconnect the charging cable at both ends.
Unplug both ends of the USB cable then reconnect both ends to ensure they are firmly connected to the headphones and the USB power source.
Reset your product.

Check for and install any available product updates.
Product updates keep your product working at its best. To determine if an update is available, run the Bose updater. The updater will let you know if your product is already up-to-date or if an update is available. For more info, see Updating the software or firmware of your product.
